Menarock Life Board Members

Andrew Seamer

Founding Director

As the founding director of Menarock LIFE Aged Care, Andrew has been involved since October 2007 starting with the first home in Moama, NSW. Prior to then, as a Chartered Accountant, Andrew was a Director at Ernst and Young with a career spanning some 16 years within the profession then gaining knowledge of the aged care sector at Japara Aged Care (now Calvary). Hailing from a large family in rural Victoria, growing up with wise seniors from the extended family made the transition to Aged Care a natural fit. Listening to and sharing individual experiences with our residents makes them truly a member of the Menarock LIFE family, something keenly encouraged by Andrew.

Craig Holland

Founding Director

As a founding director of Menarock LIFE, Craig has been involved since October 2012. Prior to joining, Craig was a senior partner at Deloitte, with a career spanning 16 years. Craig was also on the Board of the Good Guys Retail group prior to its sale to JB Hi Fi in 2016. Craig (with his fellow director Andrew Seamer) have led Menarock LIFE, working closely with the senior leadership team to provide exceptional clinical care and service for our residents. Having worked in many people orientated organisations, Craig also has a real passion for the development of talent within the organisation.

Fiona van den Berg

Director

Fiona is a Director of 3 Menarock Life Homes: Menarock LIFE Moama, Murrayvale, Menarock LIFE Templestowe Lower, Emmavale, Menarock LIFE Beaconsfield Upper and Salisbury House. Fiona joined Menarock LIFE as a Director in July 2022 and brings with her over 30 years of aged care experience. Fiona has previously held a variety of senior and executive clinical, quality and operational management roles. She has completed a Bachelor of Nursing and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing (Gerontic Nursing) Fiona also held the role as a Clinical Consultant during the recent COVID pandemic outbreaks in aged care, working closely with both Commonwealth and State Health Departments and the Aged Care and Quality Commission. Fiona is engaging, insightful and resilient with a natural ability to lead individuals and teams to successful outcomes. Fiona has a passion for aged care and making a positive difference in a resident’s day by supporting and encouraging resident’s individual choices.

JC Yap

Non Executive Director

JC joined the board in August 2022 as a Non Executive Director and as the chair of the organisation’s Clinical Governance Committee. He has over 10 years of clinical nursing experience, having worked across different senior management and executive level positions in the sector. JC is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Medical- Surgical Nursing, Masters in Clinical Nursing (Gerontology), Diploma in Dementia Care & Cert IV in Training and Assessment. He is also a member of the Governance Institute of Australia. He is committed in delivering evidence- based practice and quality care outcomes for all our consumers.

Kyan Ho

Chief Executive Officer

A Certified Practising Accountant, Kyan has over 24 years of commercial, finance and business management experience in various leadership roles. Kyan is passionate about working in service industries delivering positive changes for communities. With over 20 years of aged care experience, Kyan has been involved in all facets of operation from work on the ground to corporate governance. Kyan has also served Clinical Governance and Risk and Audit Committees and is a member of the Menarock Board. Kyan believes effective collaboration, strong engagement and connection with residents, families and staff drives the high standard of services and positive outcomes for all involved with Menarock Life.

Anica Papadopolous

General Manager People and Culture

MBA qualified, Anica is a passionate, dynamic and values driven senior HR executive with an impressive career spanning a diverse range of industries across the profit and NFP sectors. Anica’s humanism drives her to make a positive difference to the lives of the vulnerable aged care residents in our communities. She is responsible for overseeing and supporting engaged and highly motivated teams to deliver quality and safe care to our residents within an inclusive, open, safe and high-performance culture. Anica is known for her empathy, compassion, honesty and approachability.

Gina Tsiakos

Group Financial Controller

Gina is a CPA qualified professional with more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. She has a diverse finance background spanning marketing, logistics, printing and manufacturing working for ASX companies and SMEs.More recently Gina has worked in the Aged Care Sector in Senior Finance Leadership roles. She is passionate about implementing financial and operational solutions to enhance organisational governance and efficiency, allowing more time and resources to be dedicated to high quality care of residents.

Alex Victor Palangchao

General Manager – Quality, Risk and Compliance

Alex, a registered nurse, has extensive expertise in aged care management and regulatory compliance. His career spans various leadership roles, including Senior Quality Assessor with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, Quality and Operations Manager, Facility Manager, and Director of Nursing. Throughout, he has consistently set high standards in care and operational excellence. Alex is passionate about using his skills and experience to drive continuous improvement and deliver person-centred care at Menarock LIFE.

Mohammed Oukal

Group Manager Operations

Mohammed is a highly qualified clinician with extensive experience in healthcare management and clinical research, having held senior leadership roles across diverse healthcare settings. With a master’s degree in clinical nutrition, he is deeply committed to the vital role of nutrition in promoting physical health and social well-being, ultimately enhancing residents’ quality of life.Drawing on his strong management expertise and operational insight, Mohammed upholds the highest standards of care and ensures continuous regulatory compliance. His strategic leadership and hands-on, collaborative approach foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and maintaining operational excellence at the forefront of the aged care sector.

Stephanie Ranasinghe-Mawzoon

Group Manager Operations

Stephanie is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in residential aged care management, clinical leadership, and compliance. Her 20-year career spans a variety of roles in both operational and strategic capacities across the aged care sector. Her most recent role was a Senior Clinical Advisor and Interim Chief Quality and Clinical Advisor for a third-party provider who supported the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. She is ‘hands on’ in her approach, striving for excellence and empowering staff to develop to their full potential, to achieve superior outcomes for residents. Continuous improvement is always front of mind for Stephanie, to achieve operational success.

Zaigere Eales

Group Manager Operations

Zaigere Eales is an experienced Executive in the aged care sector and a registered nurse with over thirty years’ experience. She has extensive experience driving operational excellence in the complex and ever-changing aged care sector. Throughout her career, Zaigere has demonstrated expertise in operational management and continuous improvement to ensure that older Australians receive high quality person-centred care and services. Caring for older Australians in their home and ensuring they live a happy, well supported life in the way they chose is her purpose. Zaigere has completed the “Butterfly Approach” training which focuses on bringing joy in the moment to people living with dementia and loves ensuring that all residents have a rich and happy life. She has had various roles in the aged care sector over the years including CEO and has worked in the residential, support at home, CHSP and NDIS sectors.

Meredith Holmes

Lifestyle and Wellbeing Manager

Meredith is a passionate and experienced Lifestyle and Wellbeing leader with over 15 years of experience across Aged care and Community services. Recognised for her expertise in person-centred practice, dementia care and service development, she champions contemporary approaches that enhance quality of life through meaningful engagement, independence and connection.As Lifestyle and Wellbeing Manager, Meredith provides strategic leadership of Menarock LIFE’s Lifestyle and Wellbeing services, driving innovation, continuous improvement and excellence in wellbeing outcomes across the organisation. Known for her collaborative leadership style, she works alongside clinical, operational and lifestyle teams to strengthen person-centred practice, empower staff and embed meaningful engagement and reablement into everyday care.Meredith is passionate about creating communities where every resident is recognised as an individual, connected with family, friends and community, and supported to live with purpose, choice and dignity. She believes exceptional aged care is built on meaningful relationships, genuine connection and empowering every person to live with purpose, choice and dignity.
