Not everyone going into aged care is required to pay the cost of the advertised room price, some residents will be fully or partially supported by the Government. We provide room prices and comprehensive financial information on our ‘fees’ page which can be accessed by clicking below.
Individual room prices vary for each home and are dependent on the room type you choose. If you are required to pay for the cost of the room as determined by income and assets, there are 3 ways to pay.
Any DAP is calculated on an interest rate on the outstanding RAD, set by the Government and is called MPIR (Maximum Permissible Interest Rate).
The Government guarantees all RADs paid to an accredited Residential Aged Care Provider such as Menarock LIFE.
